Amorette’s Newest, Hand-Crafted Treat is the Perfect Flavor of Florida!
That fabulously fresh and fruity feeling is back in the air here in Walt Disney World, as the Flavors of Florida event has returned to Disney Springs!
From June 27 though August 10, the eateries of Disney Springs will be joining in collaboration to celebrate the very best flavors and ingredients the state has to offer.
Over 45 dining locations are taking part in this fantastically Floridian festival, and we’re so excited to see the event return to the Springs for 2025!
Of course, your MickeyBloggers were quick to arrive at Disney Springs this morning to sample all this fine Floridian fare – and right now we’re reporting to you from over at Amorette’s Patisserie.
Here, a beautiful new treat has just gone on the menu, and we wanted to share the experience right here on the blog!
So, what delicious treat did the patisserie chefs from Amorette’s dream up for this year’s Flavors of Florida festival?
The Orange Mousse
It’s this – the spectacular Orange Mousse!
Now, Amorette’s Patisserie are known for creating desserts so artistically inventive that they’re almost too spectacular to eat… and this gorgeous mousse is no different!
What we have here is an orange mousse layered with orange jam and citrus chiffon, and a Grand Marnier-soaked hazelnut financier.
It all sounds very fancy – and it’s delicate design resembles a Florida orange so perfectly!
Once we’d finished taking snaps of this highly photogenic dessert (did we mention it was hand-crafted by the pâtissiers?), we couldn’t resist tucking right in.
And, let me tell you know – our reporters were delighted by the taste of this treat!
Perfectly designed for the Flavors of Florida festival, this Orange Mousse really did bring the sunshine!
Arranged in distinct, flavorful layers, we were able to distinguish a refreshing burst from the orange jam, followed by a subtle tang from the delicately-textured mousse. The outer shell of the mousse was crunchy while the cake beneath was soft, adding even more texture to the treat, and we can also confirm that the Grand Marnier flavor was just right.
All in all, we couldn’t appreciate this unique new offering more!
We’d certainly recommend any citurs-lovers head on over to the Disney Springs Marketplace to try this gorgeous Orange Mousse, which can be purchased from Amorette’s Patisserie for $8.
