Disney Sets Debut Date For ‘Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends’
Late last year, we brought you the exciting news that Disney Junior had greenlit another Marvel animated series.
Fresh off the success of Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Disney is set to introduce Iron Man and His Awesome Friends, the first Iron Man preschool series created.
The new series will star a young Tony Stark (Mason Bloomberg), Ironheart (Kapri Ladd), and Iron Hulk (Aidyn Ahn) as they work together to protect their city.

“To help them in their Super Hero endeavors, they each have their own Iron Suits that allow them to fly and give them each enhanced super-strength. In addition, Iron Man has a Nano-Shield; Ironheart has a Heartbeat Bubble forcefield to protect people, and Iron Hulk has his strong Iron Boom clap and Iron Hulk Stomp,” the show’s official synopsis reads.
The Series Will Debut on August 11
Today, Disney announced that Iron Man and his Awesome Friends will debut on August 11 on Disney Jr. and later that day on Disney Channel.

Subsequently, the show’s first ten episodes will premiere on Disney+ the next day.

Ahead of the debut of Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends, Disney has released the new show’s theme song.

Titled “Totally Awesome,” the song was written and performed by Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus.

‘Meet Iron Man and his Awesome Friends’
Finally, leading up to the release of the series, Disney will be releasing a series of shorts titled Meet Iron Man and his Awesome Friends on YouTube.
