A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Horticulture and Show Workshops at Disneyland Paris
On June 12 and 13, Disneyland Paris Cast Members got a special treat! They were invited to step behind the scenes and discover the creativity and hard work that bring the resort to life.

The Horticulture and Entertainment teams opened their doors for a special glimpse into the artistry, passion, and skills that make Disney magic happen every day.

These two teams work tirelessly, and mostly behind the scenes. Their work often goes unnoticed, but these workshops allowed cast members to get a glimpse into their role.

In the Horticulture department, Cast Members explored beautifully themed spaces brought to life by arborists, irrigation experts, and floral designers.
Special highlights included whimsical special event topiaries of Pascal and the Cheshire Cat, created with colorful plants and intricate watering systems.

These living sculptures, inspired by EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival, showed the playful contrast to the classic shrub topiaries found throughout the parks.
The Entertainment Workshops also wowed cast members with demonstrations of their incredible handiwork. Guests saw a little bit of everything, including hand-painted props, 3D-printed models, and puppeteering demos.

Cast Members also learned fun tips and tricks! One cool secret? The meringues on top of birthday cakes in the parks are made from bathroom silicone!
The event was a great way to bring together cast members from various departments and a great reminder of the magic guests see every day.
So many cast members work hard behind the scenes to bring Disney to life, and Disney fans are grateful for every one.
