Disneyland Is the Family Business For These Cast Members
While every Walt Disney World Cast Member is committed to making guests’ vacations as magical as possible, for some, working at Disney is a part of their family legacy.
With that in mind, I would like to introduce you to the McShea family, who have worked at Disneyland Resort for over 45 years!

When Morgan McShea meets a new Cast Member at Disneyland, her last name is usually recognized. That is because Morgan’s maternal grandfather began working at The Happiest Place on Earth in 1979, first as a carpenter and later as a manager.
The Family Business
Morgan’s mom, Pam, joined the Disneyland team in 1986 as a Tomorrowland attractions host. There, she met Morgan’s dad, Scott, who worked as an electrician at Disneyland.

Scott’s brothers, Jeff and Glen, also work at the resort.
After hearing her mom’s stories about being a Disneyland Cast Member, Morgan joined the Disneyland team as an attractions host at Haunted Mansion. Later, her twin siblings, Hannah and Bryce, also became Cast Members.
Finally, their cousin, Cameron, is an attractions host in Mickey’s Toontown.

Over the years, the McShea family has made magic for thousands of guests across the resort. From left: Cameron, Hannah, Pam (1980s), Bryce, Scott, Jeff, Glen, Morgan.
Got all that? Currently, seven members of the McShea family work at Disneyland.
A Magical Moment
For Morgan, one of the best parts of working at Disneyland is sharing the experience with her family. Specifically, Morgan credits her mom with supporting her during her journey.

“She’s my best friend and my biggest supporter. My mom is always there to help me and push me to reach all my goals,” shares Morgan.
To thank her mom for love and support, Morgan set out to create the perfect family photo.
Disney coordinated a special moment as Pam had always dreamed of taking a family photo at Disneyland Park. Using hidden cameras, multiple teams, and all the McSheas, Morgan and Disney were able to set up the magical moment, where Pam was presented with a framed family photo and a surprise reunion right above the skyline of Tomorrowland, where Morgan’s parents had met.

“I’m just so grateful to Morgan, she is the sweetest person on Earth and I’m just so lucky to have her as a daughter,” Morgan’s mom tearfully shared after receiving the photo.
It was the kind of magic that only Disney and family can create.
