Thimbles & Threads Reopens at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort With Amazing New Decor
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that there has been a lot going on at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort!
In addition to the relatively recent opening of The Cake Bake Shop and Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, a refurbishment of the resort’s stores has been unfolding before our eyes.
The last time we checked in, the second section of the Screen Door General Store had reopened, and work had been on Thimbles & Threads. Now, we are back with another update!
When visiting Disney’s BoardWalk Resort today, we were thrilled to see that Thimbles & Threads has reopened.
The Jewel of the Boardwalk
The inside of the refurbished Thimbles & Threads matches the Screen Door General Store with a lighter, airy color scheme.
The whole store feels more open.
Here is the register.
The big news, however, is that adorable new signs and decor have also been added throughout the store.
I love this Clarabelle and Horace sign!
There is also a new display of thimbles, threads, and other sewing equipment.
As you can see, each thread corresponds to a different Disney character!
A second display represents EPCOT characters.
Adorable new Mickey and Minnie displays are also featured around the store.
They have a distinct BoardWalk theme!
There are even themed rugs.
New Window Displays
In addition to the refurbished interior, Thimbles & Threads has received new themed windows!
The vignettes are BoardWalk themed.
I love these displays!
Here is another look.
All in all, both Screen Door General Store and Thimbles & Threads look amazing!
