Animal Kingdom Guests Honored as Environmental Heroes For Doing Their Part
While Walt Disney World is known for its amazing attractions, immersive environments, and world-class cuisine, anyone who has ever visited the resort knows that it is the people who make Disney The Most Magical Place on Earth.
With that in mind, here at MickeyBlog, we like to highlight the men and women who have gone above and beyond to make Disney World so enchanting and improve the world around them.

To that end, I would like to share a cool moment that recently happened at Walt Disney World.
Environmental Heroes
In celebration of Cool Kid Summer, Cast Members at Disney’s Animal Kingdom recognized guests who were toting reusable water bottles and recycling with special Environmental Hero pins.

The green pins are occasionally given out to guests in the Disney Parks who are doing their part to protect the environment.
These acts can be as simple as recycling, declining a bag at a merchandise location, or using a refillable water bottle.

While we traditionally think about Disney conservation in relation to Earth Day, the company’s commitment to environmentalism continues 365 days a year.
So, next time you visit the parks, keep your eyes open. There are plenty of ways that a simple act of environmentalism can make a difference.
