Magic Kingdom Hours Extended for Later This Summer
When you’re at Disney World, you want to get the most out of your day as possible! Some people do that by staying in a park until the very last second that it’s open.

In the summer, there’s not a lot of time that you get to experience the parks after dark, since it stays light out for so long. But, Magic Kingdom will be changing that later this summer!
Magic Kingdom Hours Extended
Starting July 20th, the park hours at Magic Kingdom have been extended, so the park will now close at 11PM. This goes on through August 2nd, then goes back to the park closing at 10PM on most nights.

This is likely due to the debut of the new nighttime parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away! We just found out that the parade will happen twice a night when it debuts on July 20th — once at 9PM and again at 11PM.

So, the park is staying open late for you to catch the parade!

There are only performances listed through August 2nd right now, so we’ll have to see what changes are made (if any) once it’s added to the more of the schedule.
