PHOTOS: Stormalong Bay and Hurricane Hannah’s Reopen at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we have been closely following the refurbishment of Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort.
As a quick recap, the fan-favorite pool closed for a six-month refurbishment in January. Over the last several months, we have watched as Disney meticulously emptied the pool and conducted numerous renovations.
The last time we checked in, the pool had been filled up again, and it looked like construction was wrapping up.
Now, it is my pleasure to announce that Stormalong Bay has officially reopened!
Stormalong Bay Is Open Again!
When visiting Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club today, we were thrilled to see guests once again having fun in the sun at Stormalong Bay.
Here is a look at the sand-bottom pool.
The refurbished pool deck was glistening in the sun.
It was great to see Stormalong Bay full again.
As you can see, the pool looks like it did before.
In addition to Stormalong Bay, Hurricane Hannah’s is also open again!
Guests were lining up for a poolside snack.
Construction Continues Nearby
While the construction on Stormalong Bay has largely wrapped up, Disney is continuing to work on the Shipwreck Pool and the large water slide.
Construction is also underway on the Beach Club facade.
Nevertheless, it is great to see that the best pool on the property is once again operational!
