First Look: New Hong Kong Disneyland Name Tags Debut

Pride, tradition, and legacy. Anyone who has worked for the Walt Disney Company knows the incredible honor it is to receive a name tag and be part of the company’s history.

These name tags are a time-honored tradition. Wearing them is a symbol of pride and community and a special way of connecting with guests.

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort cast members know the excitement of wearing their name tags, and they will soon receive a new version to honor the 20th Anniversary Celebration.

But first, let’s look at some of the name tags from the past 20 years.

Opening Day

This classic name tag is the first ever name tag for the resort. It features the park’s logo on a classic white backdrop.

Five Years: Celebration in the Air

This was the theme for the first five years of the Disney resort. This name tag is decorated with pixie dust and features the number five swirling around the castle.

10 Years: Happily Ever After

This special name tag featured a golden hue and was also sprinkled with the iconic pixie dust. But this time, the castle featured the number 10 in honor of the anniversary.

15 Years: 15 Years of Magical Dreams

In honor of the 15th anniversary, this name tag featured park images and icons instead of pixie dust. If you look closely, you can see Green Alien Men, Aladdin’s lamp, Sorcerer Mickey, and more.

Everyday Magic: Special Edition Designs

These one-of-a-kind name tags celebrated unique milestones around the park, from VoluntEARS to Opening Day Attraction and Area cast members. These are celebrated special moments and experiences.

20 Years: The Most Magical Party of All

All of this excitement leads us up to the debut of the new name tags. Here is a first look at the latest design that cast members will be wearing starting June 28 for “The Most Magical Party of All.”

These new name tags feature vibrant colors and confetti to symbolize the role that each cast member brings to the party. To commemorate the occasion, these cast members will also receive an exclusive SouvenEAR mini party hat.
