Meet the Artist Behind the New ‘Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away’ Poster
While Cool Kid Summer is officially underway at Walt Disney World, we are still eagerly awaiting the arrival of Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away.
On July 20, the Magic Kingdom will debut its newest procession, giving the park its first regular nighttime parade since 2016.
Originally announced at last year’s D23: The Ultimate Fan Event, the new procession will build on the legacy of the Main Street Electrical Parade while also using the latest technology to tell classic Disney stories.

“Disney Starlight is a constellation of Disney dreams brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy,” show director Tara Anderson explained last year.
“We’re taking this idea of a magical constellation of wishes and dreams and weaving it throughout the parade. Uniting our stories with a touch of hope and wonder.”
Introducing Laura Moyer
Since Disney Starlight was revealed, fans have been enamored with the parade’s poster.

Now, Disney is shining a spotlight on the artist behind the artwork.
In a new Instagram post, Disney shared that Laura Moyer was responsible for Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away.

“My art is based on a mid-century, modern style,” Moyer explains.
Laura also drew inspiration from Mary Blair’s magic and use of light and texture.
