What Will Disney Be Like in November 2025
Here you are in the heart of summer, thinking about how hot it is outside.
Well, I’m here to tell you that George RR Martin had it right. Winter is coming.

One day soon, you’ll be wearing lots of layers and fantasizing about going somewhere warm.
That place is Walt Disney World, and its siren song will call you more than usual late this year.

What will Disney be like in November? Anything’s better than where you are during the winter, right? Let’s talk specifics, though.
Visiting Disney in November

In my opinion, November Disney visits occur in three phases.
The first one is my preference to the point that I’ll be there on November 1st this year.

Many of us have figured out the “hack” wherein we visit for Halloween. Then, we stay at Disney into early November.
By doing so, we get the best of both worlds as far as holidays go. Halloween at Disney is also magical.

That feeling only grows once midnight strikes. That moment flips the calendar to November, and Cast Members immediately start decorating.
Christmas season won’t officially start for another few days, but it’s an addictive experience watching the decorations appear in early November.

Later in the month, a change occurs as EPCOT ends one festival and starts another. We’ll talk more about that in a bit.
Then, we have Thanksgiving Week and the days afterward. That’s when all the holiday travelers relish the sensation of being at Disney at Thanksgiving.

With all due respect to your family’s Thanksgiving dinner tradition, it cannot top the food Disney serves at this time of year.
What I’m saying is that you really want to be at Disney at some point in November. Oh, and the weather’s great.
Let’s Talk about the Weather
During three of the previous four years, snowfall has occurred in my backyard in November. And I live in Tennessee.
The weather has grown less predictable lately, leading to oddities like this one. Where I am, the high temperature tomorrow may be 90 degrees.

Still, I know that snow will likely fall in November. If you live even further north than I, it’s that much worse.
You’re going to be shoveling snow and trying to warm your car many mornings…unless you’re at Disney.
According to Weather Spark’s historical data, the average high temperature in Orlando in November is 75 degrees.
Here, I’ll boldly predict your future. At some point this November, you will WISH you were at a place with 75-degree weather. It’s more inevitable than Thanos.
Based on recent trends, the daily high temperature in Orlando should range from 66 to 86 degrees.
Obviously, it’ll get cooler in Orlando as we get deeper into November, but you get the point.
As for the average low temperature, it’s a reasonable 58 degrees, with an expected range of 46 to 72 degrees.
So, the odds of very cold weather are quite remote. Think of a Disney visit as your blissful escape from Old Man Winter.
What Can You Do at Disney in November?

I mentioned festival season earlier. It’ll last for most of November, and you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds.
From November 1st through November 22nd, Disney hosts the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, its signature event.

Then, festival season takes a brief pause, typically only a few days, before the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays begins.
So, you’ll either have a festival option, or it’ll be Thanksgiving Week, which comes with its own holiday goodness.

Then, we have all the other recent additions at the parks. For example, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is hosting two shows.
Both The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After have opened to rave reviews.

Test Track
Disney has also indicated that Zootopia: Better Zoogether will probably debut in time for a November visit as well.
Also, Test Track 3.0 should have opened by then, giving you four new attractions to try during your vacation.

All of them will be less than six months old in November, making you among the first to experience each one.
Then, we have the holiday decorations, which, as I mentioned, start going up on November 1st.
There’s just nothing like Christmas at Disney, and I love that the vibe lasts for two full months.
By the way, Disney also hosts two different after-hours ticketed events in November.

So, whether you prefer the family-friendly Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or the more adult Disney Jollywood Nights, you’ll have plenty of great options!
What Can You Do in Central Florida in November?

For starters, welcome to football season! By November, the SEC and NFL will be well underway.
So, the match-ups you can watch are ones that could impact the playoffs. That makes a Brightline trip to Miami or Jacksonville worth the trip.

You can rent a car and head to Gainesville as well if you’re like me and enjoy watching the Florida Gators lose badly.
Alternatively, you could stay right where you are in Orlando and watch a University of Central Florida game. Scott Frost is back as the coach now!

If you’re not into sports, the big thing to do in the area right now is kinda obvious.
Universal Epic Universe opened in May, and the early feedback on the park is relatively positive.

No, this park isn’t as good as Disney, but it’s by far the most Disney-like park that Universal Studios has ever created.
That knowledge might make it worth your time. Also, if you’re visiting the first couple of days of November, Halloween Horror Nights is still going on.

Later in the month, you can hang out with The Grinch. Universal Studios has really elevated its Christmas game recently.
Final Thoughts

I vote with my wallet when it comes to November visits. I’ll be at Walt Disney World that month, and I warmly recommend you be there as well.
The joy of watching the Christmas decorations gradually appear is, no joke, one of my favorite things in life.

In my mind’s eye, I’m already envisioning the texts I’ll send to friends and family members back home who aren’t at Disney.
They’ll beg me to take pictures and photos of everything. That’s because all long-time Disney fans know the truth.

November Disney vacations provide unforgettable memories, the kind that last a lifetime.
Plus, the warm weather provides a glorious escape from the drudgery of your winter struggles at home.
