New Mickey Camo Shirt Celebrates 250 Years of the United States Army
Since Disney was founded in 1923, the company has proudly supported the United States military.
Both Roy and Walt Disney served in WWI, so a commitment to veterans, service members, and their families has been intertwined in the fabric of Disney. This patriotism has manifested in the WWII propaganda cartoons, the flag retreat ceremony at Disneyland, and the creation of attractions like Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln and the Hall of Presidents.
Today, Disney’s support for the military continues through initiatives like Heroes Work Here.
Mickey Camo Shirt Celebrates 250 Years of the U.S. Army
It is against this backdrop that Disneyland has released a new U.S. Army shirt.
The new shirt celebrates the 250th anniversary of the army’s founding. Its front features a small Mickey camo logo.
The back of the shirt features a larger Mickey head logo and reads “Honoring 250 Years of U.S. Army.”
As you can see, the Mickey head logo is made up of a collection of hidden Mickeys. Here is a closer look at the logo.
While Disney has released plenty of military-inspired merchandise before, this shirt is especially notable for commemorating the Army’s big anniversary.
