Donald Duck Is Temporarily Meeting Guests in a New Location at EPCOT
With the advent of Cool Kid Summer at Walt Disney World, more characters than ever are meeting guests throughout the parks.
While Disney’s Hollywood Studios has gotten the biggest infusion of new character experiences, fans can now meet more of their favorite pals at all four theme parks.
However, at EPCOT, an operational change has been made to one of the park’s traditional meet-and-greets.
Donald Duck Has Moved Out of the Mexico Pavilion
As many of you know, Donald Duck has called EPCOT’s Mexico pavilion home for years, meeting guests outside the Mesoamerican pyramid in his sombrero.
However, with the Mexico meet and greet area currently under construction, Donald has flown the coop!
Thankfully, guests can catch up with their favorite cantankerous duck in a new location!
Visit the Magic Eye Theater
For a limited time, Donald Duck is meeting guests in the Magic Eye Theater lobby at the Imagination! pavilion.
For those unfamiliar, the Magic Eye Theater is located to the left of the Journey Into Imagination with Figment entrance. Currently, it hosts the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival.
Donald has temporarily set up shop in the theater’s lobby.
As you can see, he is wearing his traditional blue sailor suit.
While Donald has a reputation for being cranky, he was all smiles when we saw him!
It was great to catch up with our old friend!
If you plan on visiting EPCOT, make sure you swing by the Magic Eye Theater and say hi!
