RECAP: All the Disneyland Resort Halloween Details Revealed So Far for 2025!
We know it’s only June, but we’re momentarily shifting focus to the Halloween season. (Spooky.)

Why? Well, Disney Parks Blog just revealed tons of details for this year’s Halloween season, including fun fall looks, entertainment offerings, terrifyingly tasty treats, Oogie Boogie Bash information, and much more.

Halloween 2025
Halloween Time will return to the Disneyland Resort on August 22nd and run through October 31st! Guests can expect to see the normal sights–orange hues, bunting, leaves, and obviously, pumpkins–sounds, and tastes!

Costumes
Mickey, Minnie, and the whole crew will dress in their best ghoulish gear! We got a sneak peek at the adorable duo, Mickey and Minnie, who are wearing bold, bright outfits with pops of purple, green, and orange.
If their outfits look familiar, it’s probably because they’re a twist on their 70th Celebration outfits!

Attractions
Haunted Mansion Holiday is returning! That’s right–the Haunted Mansion will once again be taken over by the citizens of Halloween Town. Ride a doom buggy during Halloween Time to see what happens when two holidays–Halloween and Christmas–collide!

Entertainment
The “Halloween Screams” nighttime spectacular will run during the season, featuring Disney villains, including Hades, Ursula, and Oogie Boogie.
On select nights–usually dependent on weather–the show will have fireworks!

Disney’s Happiest Haunts Guided Tour will offer guests a two-hour walking tour across Disneyland, providing spooky stories and themed experiences. Tour guests will also receive Lightning Lane access to a select attraction and reserved viewing for “Halloween Screams.”

Costumes
Radiator Springs will transform back into Radiator Screams this fall, which means guests can expect to see Lightning McQueen and his friends in their car-stumes!

Attractions
Staying in Radiator Screams–we mean Radiator Springs, the normal Halloween overlays–Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween and Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree–will return.

Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark will also return for the Halloween season, filling the Collector’s Fortress with escaped beasts. But remember–you can only ride this version of the attraction at night.

Entertainment
During Halloween Time, “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” will replace “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!” at the Disney Theater. The interactive show will provide some not-so-spooky seasonal fun, with a special treat for guests to take home after!

Plaza de la Familia
Plaza de la Familia will return on August 22nd and run through November 2nd, celebrating Coco and familia!

The celebration will take over Paradise Gardens Park, filling it with the spirit of Día de los Muertos with live entertainment provided by “Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate the Musical World of Coco!”…

…crafts, a photo-op with the Miguel puppet, the Mexican Árbol de la Vida (Tree of Life), and the interactive memory wall.

Guests can dine with characters dressed in their Halloween costumes at Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates Halloween…

…and Mickey’s Autumn Adventures at Storytellers Cafe.

Guests staying at the resort hotels will also have access to special seasonal perks, like treat trails on select afternoons, the option to add a Halloween-themed in-room celebration, and more!
The Disneyland Hotel’s Broken Spell Lounge will have a Disney Villain-themed cocktail menu! (We’re intrigued.)

The Grand Californian will have pumpkin carvers making pumpkin art, the beloved confectionery display, and Halloween-themed treatments at Tenaya Stone Spa.

Oogie Boogie Bash
Oogie Boogie Bash, Oogie Boogie’s annual party in Disney California Adventure, will run on select nights from August 17th through October 31st! The ticketed, after-hours event will bring back Villains Grove, the Treat Trails, and the “Frightfully Fun Parade.”

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit will return on August 29th and run through October 31st. The activity tasks guests with finding the Disney-themed pumpkins hidden throughout Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, and/or Downtown Disney. While anyone can hunt for fun, only guests who purchase an activity map can redeem a prize.

70th Entertainment Continues
We know what happens when holidays collide, but what happens when events collide? Well, when those events are the 70th Celebration and Halloween Time, you get to keep some anniversary entertainment! That’s right, Paint the Night parade, World of Color Happiness!, Tapestry of Happiness, and the Midway Mania updates will continue through the Halloween season.
Some anniversary decorations, photo-ops, and activities–including the interactive MagicBand+ locations and Key to Disneyland stations–will also remain in place.
