Disney’s Hollywood Studios Will Close Very Early on August 16
With Cool Kid Summer now officially underway at Walt Disney World, this is an amazing time to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth.
To ensure that families have the best summer vacation possible, Disney World has introduced new attractions, entertainment, and experiences across its four theme parks.
So far, we have seen Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, GoofyCore debut at EPCOT, and plenty of new character experiences.

Later this year, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away will open at Magic Kingdom, giving the park its first nighttime parade in over a decade.
Needless to say, if you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World this summer, you have every reason to be excited.
An Early Closing in August
While there is no bad time to visit Walt Disney World, guests heading to Central Florida this August may need to plan ahead.
According to the Walt Disney World calendar, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will close at 6 PM ET on August 16, three hours earlier than the park’s standard closing time.
While Disney has not announced the reason for the early closure, traditionally, Hollywood Studios only closes at 6 when it is being rented out for a private event.
So, if you plan on visiting Walt Disney World this August, make sure you plan ahead.
You may want to visit a different park that day.
