Shanghai Disney Resort Celebrates 9 Magical Years with New Offerings!
Another party is happening this year at a Disney park! Shanghai Disney Resort is celebrating its 9th anniversary with a bit of pixie dust and new offerings!
As one of the world’s most beloved Disney parks, the resort is celebrating nine years with magical offerings across Tomorrowland and Adventure Isle. Even better? A heartfelt celebration will take place on June 16, 2025.
Tinker Bell Debuts

To kick off the festivities on June 16th, Tinker Bell will make her Shanghai debut during a special anniversary ceremony in front of the Storytellers Statue.
For a limited time, guests can even meet the sassy fairy in Fantasyland.
Pixar Fun

Even more magic starts on June 27 when Tomorrowland welcomes Pixar Adventurous Journey. This is a new and first-of-its-kind immersive exhibition in China.
This interactive walkthrough experience is a multi-sensory journey that lets guests explore seven favorite Pixar stories, including Inside Out, Finding Nemo, Up, and Turning Red.

These Disney movies will come to life with vibrant sets, special effects, and unique Disney storytelling.
Fans can also meet new Pixar pals like Carl Fredricksen, Bing Bong, Joy, Sadness, and Edna Mode, and enjoy themed dining at the revamped Stargazer Grill -Pixar Celebration.
Celebrate Stitch
Get ready for another celebration! On June 26 (aka Stitch Day), Tomorrowland transforms into the playful Stitch Space Base. The experience will begin in a marquee area featuring a teleporter post that connects to Stitch’s spaceship!

This immersive area dedicated to the mischievous blue alien offers unique animated features, including a temper meter, themed merchandise, exclusive snacks, and video chats with Stitch.
Guests will also have the chance to meet and greet with Stitch, Lilo, or Angel at Galaxy Gathering.
Discover Junior Explorers Camp

Adventure Isle is also getting in on the fun with Junior Explorers Camp! This reimagined play zone, which opens June 16, is themed as a training camp for future adventurers. Kids can explore three unique nature-themed areas inspired by The Lion King, Finding Nemo, and Up.
Scurry through rope courses, climb towers, and enjoy interactive storytelling. It’s an exciting new way for little fans to have fun with their Disney favorites.
