Imagineers faced a creative challenge in adapting the classic Haunted Mansion experience for the high seas. Unlike the original ride with its controlled ride-through environments, the Haunted Mansion Parlor needs to create a mood: creepy, elegant, and just a touch playful, but also operate a fully functional 360° cocktail lounge. The lighting has to work double duty: immersing guests in the story while remaining practical for real-world use.

And that’s exactly what it does. From flickering sconces to eerie backlighting and the ghostly glow of the infamous purple wallpaper, every lighting detail enhances the storytelling.
