Heather Henson Closes Muppet*Vision 3D at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Yesterday was a bittersweet day for Muppet fans. After 34 years, Muppet*Vision 3D officially closed its doors at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The final showing of this beloved 3D experience and Jim Henson’s last Muppet project drew plenty of crowds (and tears) ending in the most touching way possible.
Heather Henson Says Goodbye
Get ready for all the feels. In addition to the emotions of saying goodbye to an iconic piece of Hollywood Studios and Muppets history, a special guest added a bit more magic to the final show.

Jim Henson’s daughter, Heather Henson, attended the final show and was the last guest to walk through the theater doors. Plenty of fans shared the final moments on X:

Heather is a board member of the Jim Henson Company and Foundation and addressed the crowd as she entered. She gave heartfelt thanks to everyone before stepping inside for one final performance.
The theater was filled with applause, laughter, and even a sing-along, as fans gave the attraction a standing ovation.

Thankfully, the Muppets are not disappearing entirely. They are set to take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in 2026. Though no additional details have been released yet, we can’t wait for more.
