‘Star Wars: Starfighter’ Adds Mia Goth as Main Antagonist
At Star Wars Celebration Japan last April, Lucasfilm announced that Star Wars: Starfighter was coming to theaters in 2027.
Directed by Shawn Levy, Starfighter will be set six years after the events of The Rise of Skywalker and will see Ryan Gosling join the galaxy far, far away.

“The reality is that this script is just so good. It has such a great story with great and original characters,” Gosling explained tonight. “It’s filled with so much heart and adventure, and there just really is not a more perfect filmmaker for this particular story than Shawn.”
What We Know About ‘Starfighter
While we know that Starfighter will not continue the Skywalker Saga, it will tell a self-contained story.
“This is a standalone. It’s not a prequel, not sequel. It’s a new adventure. And it’s set in a period of time that we haven’t seen explored yet,” Levy explained.

While details on Starfighter’s plot have remained secret, we now know that another star has joined the film.
Enter Mia Goth
According to a new report from The Hollywood Reporter, Mia Goth has joined Star Wars: Starfighter as the film’s primary antagonist.
In the film, Gosling’s character will protect a young ally from evil pursuers, one of whom will be played by Goth.
