The land has so many new projects on the horizon. The Avengers Campus expansion will include two new attractions, a portion of the Hollywood Backlot (R.I.P. Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!) will transform into a new Avatar land, and the first-ever Coco attraction will debut in the park.
And Christmas has apparently come early, because Disney Parks Blog just gave us new details about some of these projects. Here’s what we just learned about the new Coco ride!
Coco in DCA
With Pixar Pier located in DCA, it only makes sense for the new Coco attraction to be located nearby, right? Well–if that’s where you assumed it would be, you’d be correct!
Disney revealed the attraction will be located near Paradise Gardens Park and Pixar Pier–mostly in areas that are currently considered “backstage.” The concept art shows part of the Incredicoaster track nearby. Disney also confirmed that the attraction’s construction is set to begin this fall!

As a refresher, the attraction will be the first Coco ride in any resort! It will also be a water attraction, with guests boarding boats.
