REVIEW: Our LAST PizzeRizzo Visit in Disney’s Hollywood Studios 🍕
In case you missed it, some big changes are headed to Disney’s Hollywood Studios soon.

Muppets Courtyard
Beginning June 8, 2025, Muppets Courtyard, including Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo, will be permanently closed to make way for the new Monsters, Inc. land coming to Hollywood Studios. We paid a final visit to the classic quick service spot, PizzeRizzo, for one last meal — come along with us!
Atmosphere
PizzeRizzo replaced Pizza Planet Arcade on November 18, 2016, serving personal-sized pizzas and other Italian menu items.

PizzeRizzo
Muppets fans will recognize Rizzo the Rat as a the propietor of the establishment!

PizzeRizzo
“You got the dough? We got the cheese!”

PizzeRizzo
PizzeRizzo also offers alcoholic beverages, in addition to its regular menu items (we’ll get into that soon!).

PizzeRizzo
PizzeRizzo is made up of two stories with both indoor and outdoor seating, which means this spot offers quite a bit of available seating, often even during peak times of day!

PizzeRizzo
PizzeRizzo is truly a love letter to Muppets fans with hidden Muppets decor and references everwhere, like all these flyers…

You can also view Papa Rizzo’s original apron from 1916.

PizzeRizzo
We love the touch of old-timey Italian music adding to the atmosphere.

PizzeRizzo
There’s a “disco room” upstairs, which features chandeliers, a disco ball, and colorful lighting.

We wish we had the time to check out every piece of Muppet artwork in the restaurant!

Shall we eat?
Menu
The menu for PizzeRizzo is pretty straightforward! Selections include several varieties of pizza, sub sandwiches, and salad. They also offer kids’ meals and desserts. For drinks, choose from soft drinks, coffee, juice, and select alcoholic beverages.
Prices range from $11.69 to $13.19 for entrees.

You can order directly at the restaurant or via Mobile Order in the My Disney Experience app.

Review
We ordered the Cheese Pizza for $11.79, which also comes with a choice of sides. Side options include Caesar Salad, Macaroni & Cheese, Babybel Cheese, and a Cuties Mandarin. We opted for the Caesar Salad.
Here’s what our meal looked like.

PizzeRizzo
PizzeRizzo often gets a bad rap for their “basic” pizza, and while it is fairly basic theme park puffy pizza, it still tastes good!

Cheese Pizza
Our pizza came out piping hot and fresh, and sometimes pizza like that just hits the spot during a busy day in the park.

Cheese Pizza
The Caesar Salad side is also basic but still tasty, and a nice way to get in some greens.

Caesar Salad
Although this might not be the best meal we’ve ever had in Disney World, it’s been a reliable way to grab some fast pizza for many years. Combined with all the Muppets references throughout the restaurant, we will truly miss PizzeRizzo!

Looking Foward
Although Disney has not yet shared many details about the new Monsters, Inc. land, it’s possible that they will repurpose PizzeRizzo into a new quick service restaurant.
After all, the concept art does suggest that Mama Melrose’s may be repurposed into Harryhausen’s, the fictional Japanese restaurant in Monsters, Inc. Of course, concept art is just that — a concept, so who knows what may change.
We will have to wait and see! What are you imagining?

Head to PizzeRizzo before June 8th if you want to get one last pizza — or visit Catalina Eddie’s (also in Hollywood Studios) for more classic puffy personal pizzas.
