FULL REVIEW of EPCOT’s New GEO-82 Fireworks Experience
Today’s the day — a NEW and exclusive lounge has opened in EPCOT!
GEO-82
GEO-82, an adults-only lounge located in Spaceship Earth, has officially opened starting today. We already attended a preview and now we’re back for a special experience!
GEO-82 Atmosphere
GEO-82 is located behind Spaceship Earth, with the closest entrance to the lounge accessible via the bubblegum wall (if you know, you know), aka the wall with pink and blue diagonal stripes.

GEO-82 is open from 11AM to 9PM daily, with reservations strongly encouraged. There is no set time limit for each party, but Disney believes most guests will stay for about an hour.

The lounge can accommodate up to 92 guests, and all guests must be 21 years or older to enter.

We were informed that a walk-up waitlist will NOT be available, at least for the foreseeable future.

The windows overlook the entrance to the World Showcase, which means fireworks from EPCOT’s nightly show, Luminous The Symphony of Us, can be visible!

This is what the entrance looked like before opening today. A Cast Member told us that people with early reservations (beginning at 11AM) would be able to start checking in around 10:30AM.

The menu for GEO-82 includes small plates, cocktails, zero-proof cocktails (mocktails), beer, wine, and more.

The small plates range in price from $14 to $29.99 and include dishes such as Truffled Ahi Tuna, Funghi Flatbread, and more.
GEO-82 Fireworks Experience
We attended the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience, which is a separate experience from a general GEO-82 reservation. It costs $179 per person, plus taxes and gratuity.
Check-in begins approximately 60 minutes before the fireworks show, Luminous the Symphony of Us.

Only 7 tables (24 seats) are reserved for the Fireworks Experience, although anyone already inside the lounge can technically watch the fireworks if the timing works out.
7:40PM is the last available non-fireworks package reservation, and the kitchen officially closes at 9PM.

This experience includes exclusive champagne selected by Disney sommeliers (or event-exclusive cocktails), a tasting tower of light bites, and a selection of sweets during Luminous The Symphony of Us.

The Shimmering Margarita and the Golden Old Fashioned are served only for this event. In fact, GEO-82 features 40 liquors that aren’t available to the general public.

We really enjoyed the tasting tower! The pimento cheese macaron was a fun combo of sweet and savory.
The meats were very fresh and flavorful, but not too salty. The cheese paired beautifully! The cured meats also had a bit of a nutty undertone, and the deviled eggs were salty with a good overall flavor.

Dessert included a variety of sweet treats.

We opted to purchase the Bourbon Flight for an additional $49. We really enjoyed it!
We were told to drink in a counter-clockwise order, with the last one referred to as the “fireworks” of the four drinks.
