PHOTOS: The Woody’s Lunch Box Patio Construction Is ALMOST Complete
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we have been closely following the patio refurbishment taking place at Woody’s Lunch Box.
Since opening with the rest of Toy Story Land in 2018, Woody’s Lunch Box has been a fan-favorite quick-service restaurant. Like the rest of the land, however, the eatery suffered from a distinct lack of shade.
To rectify this, Disney demolished part of the restaurant’s patio last year and began constructing new seating.

This time around, the patio area is accompanied by a large shade structure designed to look like it was built out of K’NEX pieces and LEGOS.
The Project Has Been Unfolding Over the Last Several Months
Over the last several months, we have watched as the new structure has come to life before our eyes.
The last time we checked in, the patio shade structure looked just about finished, and guests were able to cool off under the new covering.

Now, we are back with another update!
Even More of the Woody’s Lunch Box Patio Is Now Open!
When we visited Disney’s Hollywood Studios today, we were thrilled to see that more of the Woody’s Lunch Box patio had opened!

As you can see, there are plenty of covered tables for guests to sit.

Some of the tables are located under the new shade structure, while others have their own umbrellas.

The theming of the tables fits in perfectly with the rest of Toy Story Land!

Here is another look.

When Will Construction Wrap Up?
While the project looks almost finished, part of the patio remains blocked off for construction.

By the look of things, however, it won’t be long until the full area is open!

As always, be sure to check back with MickeyBlog. We will continue to update you on all the news coming out of Walt Disney World.
