Fun Facts About the Red-Billed Blue Magpie at Animal Kingdom
We love following the animal news from Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and it feels like something exciting is always happening.
We recently celebrated the birthdays of some special otters, followed the progress of our favorite baby tiger, Bakso, and got an up-close view of Baby Tucker the sweet giraffe.
Today, Dr. Mark Penning took to social media to share some interesting info about the Red-Billed Blue Magpie guests can see at one of Animal Kingdom’s most exciting attractions!

According to Dr. Mike, these eye-catching birds have super-long tails (up to 17 inches!) that they show off during courtship.
Guests can spot their bright colors and impressive feathers before they take the plunge in Asia.
