“After years working a propane job in Saudi Arabia to earn their retirement nest egg, Hank and Peggy Hill return to a changed Arlen, Texas, to reconnect with old friends Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill. Meanwhile, Bobby is living his dream as a chef in Dallas and enjoying his 20s with his former classmates Connie, Joseph, and Chane,” the revival’s synopsis reads.
‘King of the Hill’
For those who may not know, King of the Hill ran for 13 seasons from 1997 through 2009, with over 250 episodes airing on Fox.

Subsequently, the show remained popular in reruns and then on streaming.
Following Disney’s purchase of 21st Century Fox, Disney acquired the rights to King of the Hill. Before the merger, there were talks of reviving the series at Fox.
