Music Recording Takes Place For the Disney Destiny’s New ‘Disney Hercules’ Show
Disney Cruise Line has been VERY busy lately!
It’s been less than six months since the Disney Treasure set sail on her maiden voyage, but we’re already gearing up for the arrival of TWO new ships this year: the Disney Adventure and the Disney Destiny!

With an exciting heroes-and-villains theme and new entertainment, Disney Destiny will deliver all the magic you’d expect of a Disney cruise — and then some!
As we inch closer and closer to the ship’s maiden voyage on November 20, 2025, Disney Cruise Line is keeping us posted on all the latest Disney Destiny news and updates.

In case you missed it, Disney Destiny will feature a new musical stage show, ‘Disney Hercules.’

Last month, Disney Live Entertainment traveled to Nashville, Tennessee to record the music for the new Broadway-style stage show.
Together with some of Nashville’s greatest gospel singers, vocalists from Orlando, Florida created a reimagined version of the original film soundtrack. Fans can expect a “fresh take on the musical arrangements” complete with “a soulful, high-energy twist.”

Meanwhile, talented artists are hard at work creating all the details and artwork that will bring Disney Destiny to life!
Senior Concept Artist/Illustrator Hannah Loflin is currently creating a collection of three vibrant still-life paintings inspired by some of Disney’s most nefarious Villains – Captain Hook, Prince John, and the Evil Queen.

Once the artwork is completed, the pieces will be installed near Hook’s Barbery on Deck 4, where guests can enjoy them in all their glory!

Of course, one of the key experiences of any Disney cruise is the DINING! And on Disney Destiny, guests will have the chance to eat at a new walk-up cafe called Café Megara.

The Hercules-inspired eatery will include “nods to the ancient world of Greek mythology and legendary heroes” — like a custom cloud-like carpet pattern and wallpaper with hidden designs of Pegasus leaping through the clouds.
