Disney Junior Announces Release Date For ‘Spidey and His Amazing Friends’ Season 4

As the Marvel Cinematic Universe has become the dominant force at the box office, Disney has leveraged the Marvel brand in multiple other successful ways.

Perhaps the shining example of this has been the creation of the Disney Jr. series Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends.

For those who may not know, Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends follows the adventures of Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy, and Miles Morales as they team up with superheroes to defeat foes and learn that teamwork is the best way to save the day.

A Streaming Hit

Since its premiere in August 2021, the show has been a ratings giant. Currently, the No. 2 streaming series for kids and boys between the ages of 2 and 5, the show has been streamed for 896 million hours on Disney+ to date.

Additionally, Spidey has 2.3 million views across the Disney Jr. and Marvel HQ YouTube channels.

Now, Disney is gearing up for another exciting season of the show.

Season 4 Is On the Way

Season four of Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends will premiere Monday, June 16, at 8 AM PT on Disney Jr. The show will also air on Disney Channel and Disney Jr. on Demand later that day.

On Tuesday, June 17, the first six episodes will be available on Disney+.

According to Disney, “Season four will introduce a new ‘Water-Webs’ story arc in which Team Spidey receives water-themed powers and pirate suits. It also continues the popular ‘Dino-Webs’ story arc from season three.”

Finally, the new season of Spidey and His Amazing Friends will feature Captain America’s debut and the arrival of Marvel Rivals star Jeff the Landshark.
