‘The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure’ Is Now OPEN at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
With Cool Kid Summer officially underway at Walt Disney World, The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure is now open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
The new Broadway-style show serves as the spiritual successor to The Voyage of the Little Mermaid, using immersive set pieces, cutting-edge technology, and impressive puppetry to give a fresh twist to Ariel’s story.

If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we got to preview the attraction yesterday. Nevertheless, we wanted to head straight to Hollywood Studios this morning to celebrate the attraction’s official debut!
Here is the latest.
Guests Hurried to Animation Courtyard To See the New Show
A quick look at the Walt Disney World calendar shows that The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure was scheduled to be performed from 9:15 AM to 7:15 PM today.
Interestingly, however, the park held a surprise first show at 8:45 AM for guests who arrived early!
As with any new attraction, guests flocked to Animation Courtyard to catch the show. By 9:00 AM, the wait time was already 30 minutes!
Lightning Lane Is Not Currently Being Offered
It should be noted that The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure is not currently utilizing the Disney Lightning Lane system.
So, if you want to see the show, you will have to wait in the traditional standby line.
According to the Cast Members we talked to, Lighting Lane will not be offered for the next few weeks.
Nevertheless, if you are an Ariel fan, you will not want to miss The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure!
