New Little Mermaid Show Hits Wait Time of 100 Minutes at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
It’s the first day of Cool Kid Summer, and there are a ton of things happening around Disney World! There is the Galactic Blast in Magic Kingdom, GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall in EPCOT, and the new Disney PhotoPass Magic Shots all around the parks.

Another thing happening today is the official opening of The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! And, the opening day crowds are showing up in full force.

The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure jumped up to a 100-minute wait time earlier today! The opening day crowds are not to be taken lightly.
We checked it out a little later, and it was at 80 minutes.
Even later on, it dropped to a 60-minute wait.
But, around 1:30PM, the wait time popped back up to 70 minutes.
It’s also important to know that capacity is capped for the shows in the queue. Cast members marked off the line between two shows earlier today, telling everyone lining up after the mark that they would be in the 12PM show, not the 11:30AM show, which was the next one.
Animation Courtyard was super busy as well! This is likely due to the opening day of the show and Cool Kid Summer festivities officially beginning today.
