NEW Crafts Arrive for Cool Kid Summer at Rafiki’s Planet Watch in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Things are heating up in Disney World, but that’s not going to stop us! Today, the season of Cool Kid Summer has officially begun across the resort, and your MickeyBloggers are here and ready to check out all the new summertime fun!
Cool Kid Summer – Animal Kingdom
Right now, we’re over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where this hot Florida sun is making us dream of a bit of a cool-off in a shaded area, full of fun activities to keep us entertained.
Thankfully, we think we know just the place… and it’s only a train ride away! Let’s go!
Rafiki’s Planet Watch
It’s always nice to settle down for a short while to do some crafting, especially as a way to beat the heat and keep cool!
Rafiki’s Plant Watch at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Here at Rafiki’s Planet Watch, there’s a fun new activity available to guests, and your Cool Kid MickeyBloggers decided to swing on by to check it out!
Butterflies & Bees
Check out the fun Pollinator Craft Station at Rafiki’s Planet Watch!
You can pick to color either a butterfly bracelet…
…or a bumblebee crown. We chose the butterfly!
There are tables set up with crayons and the cast members will help you fold them when you’re done to make them into the bracelet or the crown.
This activity will be running here at Conservation Station from today, May 27th – right through September 1st.
Be sure to stop by during your next adventure in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Remember – the last Wildlife Express Train departs from Harambe Station at 4:30PM daily, so don’t miss out!
