After months of waiting, guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios will finally have the opportunity to go under the sea with Ariel tomorrow when The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure opens in Animation Courtyard.
The spiritual successor to the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, the new show uses immersive set pieces, cutting-edge technology, and impressive puppetry to bring Ariel’s story to life.
“This fully reimagined show will feature stunning set pieces, imaginative costumes, cutting-edge effects, skillful puppetry, and a bold new design aesthetic that captures Ariel’s imagination and emotions through her unique view of the world around her,” Disney announced in 2023.

Sebastian Was All Smiles
While the cantankerous crab rarely does meet and greets, he swam over to Disney’s Yacht Club this evening to celebrate the opening of the new Little Mermaid show!
As you can see, Sebastian was thrilled to catch up with fans.
There was no better way to celebrate the opening of The Little Mermaid—A Musical Adventure than by seeing Sebastian again!
Hopefully, we see more of him now that the new Little Mermaid show has finally arrived!
