New “Get Animated” Dance Party with Disney Jr. Debuts at Hollywood Studios!
Cool Kid Summer has officially begun at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Okay, it might be a day early, but our MickeyBlog reporters are noticing that some vibrant summertime fun has lit up Disney’s Hollywood Studios, ready for an action-packed Memorial Day.
We’ve been looking forward to having this seasonal agenda heat up the park, so let’s head on over to Animation Courtyard to see what’s in store for the summer!
Get Animated!
One of the activities we’ve been most excited to experience here at the Studios is “Get Animated!” — a DJ dance party like none other here in Animation Courtyard.
The colorful signs lining the area are really capturing our attention, so let’s head into the theater to see what’s going on!
Now, you may know this theater as the location for the long-standing “Disney Junior Play and Dance!” musical celebration.
Today, stepping into the theater, it looks like a whole new disco is shaping up!
Throughout the summer, the usual “Play and Dance!” show will be paused, ready to make way for this fun-filled “Get Animated!” party.
And, wow, it sure looks like the place to be!
This Is Where All The Cool Kids Are!
So, who’s at the disco? Well, first of all, we had to say hi to Mickey, who was looking mighty cool in his racer suit!
Pluto was there too, enjoying the DJ’s lively selection, as well as some Disney Junior favorites, also out to say “hello!”
Vampirina was playing with the hula-hoops, while Doc McStuffins was here trying to catch Timon’s attention.
Looks like the meerkat really doesn’t have any worries this summer — he was living for that camera!
If you fancy stepping out of the heat and onto the dancefloor this summer, be sure to swing by the Get Animated! disco on your next visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Located in Animation Courtyard, this disco will be rocking continuously from 9am through 5pm, and you can stay and join the fun for as long as you like!
