Missing Hero Table

One of the most moving symbols is the Missing Hero Table, a visual tribute displayed at locations across Disney, including Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World, Aulani, and more.
Each element of the table carries a special meaning: a slice of lemon for the bitterness of loss, a pinch of salt for the tears shed, an inverted glass for those who cannot toast with us, and an empty chair that will never be filled.
As U.S. Navy veteran and Disneyland manager Nick Filippone shared, these tables encourage reflection and gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy.

In celebration of National Military Appreciation Month, Disney celebrates today and beyond. During LA Fleet Week 2025, Disneyland Resort welcomed 100 Sailors and Marines for a magical day filled with attractions, parades, entertainment, and a moving Flag Retreat ceremony in Town Square.
