Characters, Games, and More Arrive at Hollywood Studios for Cool Kid Summer
Get ready for the coolest adventure of the season! Cool Kid Summer is sliding into Walt Disney World from May 27 to September 1, 2025, and the party starts now!
This brand-new celebration brings summer sun, surprises, and plenty of fun across all four parks. From epic dance parties to creative crafts to themed activities and more, every day is packed with magic.
We stopped by Hollywood Studios today and noticed that the fun is starting a day early! Today, we met plenty of amazing Disney characters in Animation Courtyard and checked out some fun games and activities! Let’s take a look.
Look Who We Met!
One of the best parts about visiting the theme parks is meeting your favorite characters, and some special ones came out for Cool Kid Summer.
Our first Disney friend we saw was Daisy, looking stylish and posing for the camera!
Wow! Talk about a surprise guest appearance! Check out Clarabelle Cow.
We also got to meet Max, who is being extra silly for the camera!
Speaking of silly! We also ran into Chip ‘n’ Dale!
You can see these characters in Animation Courtyard at Hollywood Studios! They are doing 15- 20-minute meet-and-greets in select locations!
In addition to posing for pictures and meeting their fans, many of the characters play games and engage with guests.
Games and Activities
How cool is the set up? Colorful murals and bright tables are set up for games and activities.
Here is a great look! Red, yellow, and blue tables are under shady areas, allowing young Disney fans to take a break, cool off, and color.
Keep your eyes open! You may be coloring with one of your best Disney friends.
Here is a close-up of one of the coloring activities featuring Disney Junior characters.
And the other side features a colorful image of Mickey. This is a great souvenir, and the fan is the perfect way to stay cool on a sunny day.
We spotted even more fun happening! An enthusiastic juggler and Donald pull in some members of the audience for a fun game! It looks like they are having a great time!
These interactive experiences are happening all throughout the day and are perfect for the entire family.
Refuel at Get Refreshed
Afterwards, head to the Get Refreshed Stand for Once Upon a Farm drinks and snacks.
The stand offers delicious, healthy drinks and treats.
