With Cool Kid Summer set to kick off at Walt Disney World in just four days, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of two new attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Now, however, I want to turn your attention to Animation Courtyard, where The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure is getting ready to open.

The spiritual successor to the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure will use immersive set pieces, cutting-edge technology, and impressive puppetry to bring Ariel’s story to life.

“This fully reimagined show will feature stunning set pieces, imaginative costumes, cutting-edge effects, skillful puppetry, and a bold new design aesthetic that captures Ariel’s imagination and emotions through her unique view of the world around her,” Disney announced in 2023.
The New Show Looks AMAZING
With just days to go until the new attraction debuts, Disney has shared four new photos of The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure!
The first photo aligns with the concept art we saw and shows the “Under the Sea” number.

Next up, Prince Eric and Ariel row under the moonlight in the “Kiss the Girl” scene.
The third photo shows Ariel swimming, which appears to be from “Part of Your World.” She looks amazing!

Based on these photos, The Little Mermaid—A Musical Adventure looks like an amazing show! The attraction will officially open on May 27.
