Central Florida is a prime location with excellent proximity to theme parks, beaches, and Port Canaveral.
Updated Info
AAA has released new data on which cities people plan to visit for Memorial Day weekend, and they predict that Orlando will be the country’s No. 1 travel destination.

Visit Orlando
The travel period runs from Thursday, May 22, through Monday, May 26, and is projected to draw more than 45.1 million travelers across the country.
This year’s travel breaks 2005’s previous record of 44 million.

Why the draw and influx of tourists? Orlando’s world-famous theme parks and its proximity to cruise ports account for the expected increase.
In addition, tourists are attending the highly anticipated grand opening of Universal’s Epic Universe theme park on 22 May!

Orlando is joined in the top five destinations by Seattle, New York City, Las Vegas, and Miami.
Holiday travel
In Florida alone, 2.6 million residents are expected to travel by car on trips of 50 miles or more.
AAA spokesperson Mark Jenkins reminded drivers to stay alert. “There are a lot of people on the roads who haven’t been here in a while—or ever,” he said. “Don’t let one mistake ruin your—and somebody else’s—vacation.”

Practical tips include avoiding distractions, being cautious during night hours, and watching for roadside stops. Stay safe!
