Disney Expands Disability Access Service Validity to One Year
Disney has quietly updated its Disability Access Service (DAS) program once again, extending its validity period to one full year at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.
This new policy means guests who qualify for DAS will only need to re-register once every 12 months, or sooner if their ticket expires before then.

Updates and Changes
Previously, DAS was only valid for 60 days, then 120 days following updates made in 2024.
That window was expanded to 240 days in September 2024. This newest extension is now posted on the official DAS pages for both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.

Guests approved for DAS can now use the service for up to 1 year or the length of their ticket (whichever is shorter). Once that period ends, they’ll need to re-register to continue accessing DAS benefits.
The updated policy provides some streamlining and convenience. It means that frequent park visitors with DAS will no longer need to re-enroll as frequently.

However, it’s important to note that Guests currently enrolled in DAS under the older 240-day policy may still need to re-register when their existing validity expires.
At this time, Disney has not confirmed whether older passes will automatically convert to the new 1-year timeframe.
