WATCH: Lin-Manuel Miranda Plays ‘Finish the Lyric’ at Disneyland’s Club 33
Over the last decade. Lin-Manuel Miranda has provided the soundtrack for some of Disney’s biggest films.
Picking up the torch from Disney Renaissance luminaries such as Howard Ashman, Alan Menken, Tim Rice, Elton John, and Phil Collins, Miranda has infused Disney’s films with a distinct musical tone that has not only elevated the movies themselves but also provided Disney with some of its biggest hits ever.

He has now become an essential part of the Disney team.
A Historic Run
Since 2015, Manuel-Miranda has worked on the soundtracks for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Moana, Encanto, The Little Mermaid, and Mufasa: The Lion King.

He also starred as Jack in Mary Poppins Returns.
Over this period, the songwriter has been responsible for a series of iconic songs, including “How Far I’lll Go,” “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” and “I Always Wanted a Brother.”

Mirnada Plays “Finish the Lyric”
In a new video shared by Disney Parks, Miranda was tested on his ability to recite his famous compositions.
Standing on the Club 33 balcony at Disneyland, the songwriter played a round of Finish the Lyric, trying to recall songs from Moana, Mufasa, Mary Poppins Returns, and more!
