PHOTOS: Murals, Mosaics, and More Debut at Animation Courtyard Ahead of Cool Kid Summer
In less than two weeks, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will receive an infusion of new shows, experiences, and meet-and-greets when Cool Kid Summer officially kicks off at Walt Disney World.
While much attention has been (rightfully) paid to the upcoming debuts of Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure, the new shows are not all that Hollywood Studios will have in store for fans this summer.

New Experiences Are Coming To Animation Courtyard
Over in Animation Courtyard, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of new interactive experiences, character sightings, and a new indoor dance party featuring Mickey and his Disney Junior friends.

The last time we checked in on the area, the Disney Junior meet and greet area had been blocked off, and the characters had moved to Echo Lake.
Now, we are back with another update.
Murals, Mosaics, and More!
When we visited Disney’s Hollywood Studios today, we were thrilled to see that a new Disney Junior mosaic had arrived in Animation Courtyard.

As you can see, Disney is sprucing up the former meet-and-greet area.
Here is another look. It looks like new murals have been painted behind the planters.
When complete, the new artwork should really liven up the building!

With Cool Kid Summer set to kick off at Walt Disney World on May 27, we won’t have to wait long to see what the refreshed Animation Courtyard looks like.
