PHOTOS: World Premiere Is NOW OPEN at Walt Disney Studios Park

In April 2024, The Walt Disney Company announced that it would be radically transforming Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris into the new Disney Adventure World.

As part of the multi-year transformation, the Disneyland Paris park will add World of Frozen, Words of Pixar, and an expanded Avengers Campus. Additionally, Disney announced that the park’s Studio 1 area would undergo a transformation, eventually reopening as the World Premiere.

“The unique spot that will transport guests to the heart of a glamorous Hollywood film premiere beginning May 15 The exclusive décor, refurbished spaces, and brand-new storyline will immerse guests of all ages in an authentic Hollywood boulevard, recognizable by its palm trees, varied architectural styles, iconic stars on the ground, and nods to its famous movie theater,” Disney teased at the time.

World Premiere Is Now Open

Well, if you check your calendars, you may notice that today is May 15, meaning World Premiere is now open!

Serving as a gateway to Walt Disney Studios’ other lands, World Premiere transports guests back to the Golden Age of Hollywood. Here, they can stop and eat at The Hollywood Gardens Restaurant, peruse Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique, or head out for adventure.

As you can see, the new area is brimming with nods to both Hollywood and Disney history.

More Changes Are Coming

While there is still plenty of work to do before the transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World is complete, today’s opening of World Premiere is an important milestone.
