VIDEO: First Look at DCA’s 70th Anniversary “World of Color Happiness!” Show!
It’s always hard to end our day at Disneyland as magically as we started it. (Seriously…who wants to leave?)

The Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary celebration is almost here, and we’re lucky enough to be previewing the new debuts early (follow along here)! Trust us when we say it’ll be hard to leave the parks with all these exciting offerings around (even if we know we’re returning the very next day).
With that said, we somehow found ourselves excited for today to end–that was the only way Disney California Adventure’s new World of Color show could begin!
World of Color Happiness!
In celebration of the Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary, Disney California Adventure will debut an all-new World of Color show, World of Color Happiness! We were able to preview the show tonight, and of course, we’re sharing it with you.

This show is immersive! Before it even begins, guests can vote via the Disneyland app to help decide which emotion will get the spotlight that night. Guests will choose between Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Envy. (You find out who won when you watch the show.)
World of Color Happiness!
The pre-show may be some fans’ favorite part of the entire nighttime spectacular. Why? It features the Muppets!
Kermit and Gonzo are joined by their friends as they share the pre-show safety announcements–via song and dance, of course. (What? Did you really think they were going to just say them?)

World of Color Happiness! stays true to its name by focusing on happiness, carried out through all the emotions. The show is hosted by Joy and other characters from the Inside Out franchise, who bring the sounds and colors of happiness to life…with a touch of Disney magic.

The show featured scenes and characters from films like Turning Red, The Incredibles, A Goofy Movie, Tangled, and Encanto!

We’re Posting a FULL Video of the Show on YouTube Soon, So Stay Tuned!
Showtimes vary, so check the app during your visit for accurate times. On May 16th, the show’s official debut, showtimes are currently set at 9PM and 10:15PM.
If you’re visiting the resort during the anniversary celebration, consider ending your night in Disney California Adventure with a viewing of this happy show!
