FIRST LOOK at the New Celebrate Happy Cavalcade for Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary!
Disneyland Resort’s big 70th Anniversary is almost here! We’ve been at Disneyland getting a special preview of all of the entertainment, food, merchandise, and more.
There are many fun entertainment options, including a brand new cavalcade. And, there’s a preview of the cavalcade today before it officially debuts on May 16th — let’s go see it together!
Celebrate Happy Cavalcade
The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade is a new character cavalcade that winds its way along the traditional parade route in Disneyland Park! A cavalcade is different from a parade because it’s not as elaborate and it’s usually much shorter.
This one only lasted about 5 minutes!
It started off with the iconic Duffy and ShellieMay!
It’s very rare to see them in the U.S. Disney parks, so this is a special treat!

They are literally SO adorable.

We also spotted Goofy in his 70th attire…
…and Max!
You can see some of your other favorite characters in this cavalcade, dancing and clapping along to the music. Here’s Dale with Chip in the background!
We also spotted some Disney Princesses!
Say hello to Snow White.
The dancers are all decked out!
Then, we saw Mickey and Friends on their own float in their 70th anniversary costumes!
Don’t they look great?!
Pluto and Donald were having a great time.
Finally, the cavalcade ended with characters like Genie, Aladdin, Coco, Geppetto, Peter Pan…
…Alice, Mary Poppins…
…and Captain Hook!
The cavalcade will officially debut this Friday, May 16th.
