Everything to Know About DCA’s Magic Key 70th Celebration Event!
The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration is about to begin!

The anniversary event kicks off on May 16th, filling the parks with exciting character interactions, shows, merchandise, eats and drinks, and more! But there’s one exclusive area–and item–only Magic Key holders can access.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Magic Key 70th Celebration Event!
Magic Key 70th Celebration Event
Disney California Adventure’s Hyperion Theater Courtyard will host a Magic Key 70th Celebration event! Check out the video the Disneyland Magic Key Instagram account posted, revealing the special key holder perk:

From May 27th to June 2nd, Magic Key holders can stop by the location to access anniversary-themed photo-ops, a photo booth with complimentary prints, and a complimentary Paint the Night parade poster (limited to one per key holder, while supplies last). Here is the event’s schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 3:30PM to 8:00PM
- Saturday and Sunday: 11:00AM to 4:00PM
Magic Key Area – Food & Wine
To participate in the event, you must have an active Magic Key pass. The exclusive event can be accessed via virtual queue only. To join, Magic Key holders must:
- Have a reservation for Disney California Adventure or Disneyland Park;
- Log in to the Disneyland app;
- Select “Virtual Queues”;
- Join the 7:00AM “Magic Key 70th Celebration Event” virtual queue; and
- Come to the location when their boarding group is called.
