Rich Eisen Is Coming Home to ESPN
In a move that could drastically reshape the sports landscape, Rich Eisen is returning to ESPN more than two decades after he left The Worldwide Leader in Sports.
According to a report from The Athletic, The Rich Eisen Show will move from Roku to ESPN this fall, with the expectation that the popular program will anchor ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer product, which is also set to launch this fall.

Here is the latest.
Eisen Was an ESPN Star For Years
For those who may not remember, Eisen was a staple on ESPN from 1996 through 2003. Subsequently, he left the station to join NFL Network and eventually became the face of the endeavor.

According to the New York Times Report, ESPN will license The Rich Eisen Show, not own it. This arrangement, similar to the one struck with Pat McAfee, will allow Eisen to maintain ownership of his own show and have more editorial freedom.

Additionally, there is a “strong possibility” that The Rich Eisen Show will be simulcast on ESPN Radio.
ESPN Continues to Add Stars
Since taking the help at ESPN, Jimmy Pitaro has done everything he can to bring the biggest stars in sports media to the network. To that end, we have seen McAfee, Shannon Sharpe, Peyton and Eli Manning, Jason Kelce, and more brought into the fold.
Recently, Stephen A. Smith also agreed to a massive new deal.

With the Worldwide Leader in Sports needing more content than ever before, Pitaro may not be done yet.
