Magic Key Holders Can Enjoy a 70th Anniversary Kick-Off Event in Disneyland!
It’s almost time for Disneyland’s big 70th Anniversary celebration! There will be special decorations, entertainment, merchandise, and more.

And now, there’s a special event happening just for Magic Key holders at Disneyland Resort!
Magic Key 70th Anniversary Kick-Off Event
From May 27th to June 2nd, Magic Key holders can stop by the Hyperion Theater Courtyard at Disney California Adventure Park for a Magic Key 70th Celebration event!
Disneyland Monorail
There will be themed photo ops and a special photo booth with complimentary prints. Magic Key holders can also get a special Paint the Night parade poster as a souvenir, while supplies last.
Sleeping Beauty Castle
Here are the event details:
- Location: Hyperion Theater Courtyard in Hollywood Land, Disney California Adventure Park
- Dates: May 27th to June 2, 2025
- Times:
- Monday to Friday, 3:30PM to 8PM
- Saturday and Sunday, 11AM to 4PM
Theme park reservations and a virtual queue is required for this event. And there is a limit of one keepsake per Magic Key holder, while supplies last.
So, Magic Key holders with a Disney California Adventure or Disneyland Park reservation will have the opportunity to join the 7AM virtual queue for that day. You can join the virtual queue by:
- Tapping the menu at the bottom of your screen in the Disneyland app, then select “Virtual Queues”
- Join the virtual queue for the Magic Key 70th Celebration Event
You’ll receive a push notification when your boarding group is called with the designated return window for you to check in at the Hyperion Theater Courtyard.
