Disney and UNIQLO Preview New ‘Disney in Blue’ Collection
UNIQLO and Disney have teamed up to create a new Disney in Blue collection, starring Mickey Mouse!
Part of the Magic For All collaboration, Disney is Blue was made in partnership with BUAISOU, a Japanese artisan collective based in Tokushima Prefecture and known for their dedication to traditional indigo dyeing practices.

Known throughout the world for their craftsmanship, BUAISOU uses modern techniques and traditional methods to create unique designs.

The Disney in Blue collection draws inspiration from various shades of blue derived from natural indigo and will feature unique apparel starring Mickey and friends!

According to UNIQLO, the new line will include Uniqlo t-shirts for men, women, and children. Additionally, shirts and shorts with an all-over bandana pattern design will be included.

“The collection features design full of originality, such as Mickey Mouse with blue-dyed gloves as he is taken through the indigo dyeing process, the identity of indigo dyeing craftsmen, and a bandana pattern that likens Mickey Mouse to an indigo dyeing craftsman depicting a series of indigo dyeing processes,” the company teased.
When Will the New Collection Debut?
The new line will be available beginning May 19, so keep your eyes open. A brand new line of unique Disney merchandise will be here before we know it!
