The Esplanade and Disney California Adventure Get Spruced up for the 70th Celebration
The countdown is on! We’re just days away from the official launch of the Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary Celebration, and the excitement is building fast.
Starting May 16th, guests can experience new entertainment, reimagined attractions, delicious limited-time eats, and exclusive merchandise. The best part? It is all wrapped up in a festive, resort-wide transformation.

From Sleeping Beauty Castle to Downtown Disney, the entire resort is starting to transform with anniversary-themed décor, and we just spotted even more.

Just a few days ago, this is what the castle structure at the Esplanade looked like:

The pathway between the two parks was just beginning to transform, and the structure was still blocked off. Today, the castle display is complete and looks great!
