WATCH: ‘The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure’ Will Feature the Debut of Ariel’s Sisters

Not only is Disney World celebrating its biggest fans with the return of V.I.PASSHOLDER Days, but The Most Magical Place on Earth is also preparing for the arrival of two new shows.
On May 27, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and The Little Mermaid—A Musical Adventure will make their triumphant debuts at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, infusing the park with a new dose of Disney magic.

While much attention has been paid to Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, I want to discuss the new Little Mermaid attraction.
‘The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure’
The spiritual successor to the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure will use immersive set pieces, cutting-edge technology, and impressive puppetry to bring Ariel’s story to life.

“This fully reimagined show will feature stunning set pieces, imaginative costumes, cutting-edge effects, skillful puppetry, and a bold new design aesthetic that captures Ariel’s imagination and emotions through her unique view of the world around her,” Disney announced in 2023.
The Show’s Cast of Characters
With just weeks to go until The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure debuts, Disney took to Instagram this morning to tease the new attraction.

The new video highlights the attraction’s basic plot and opening date. It also lists the show’s cast of characters, which includes Ariel, Ursula, Prince Eric, Flounder, Sebastian, and Max.
The big news, however, is that The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure will also feature the first appearance of Ariel’s sisters!
