WATCH: ‘Storytellers Spotlight: Coperni x Disney Princess’ Takes Viewers “Behind-the-Seams”

On October 1, 2024, Disneyland Paris held its first-ever fashion show, an event that blended the magic of Disney with the creativity of Coperni.

Now, thanks to Storytellers Spotlight, Hulu is spotlighting the whimsical event, offering viewers a behind-the-scenes look at both the fashion show and Coperni’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection.

What Is ‘Storytellers Spotlight’?

For those who don’t know, Storytellers Spotlight is a series on Hulu. The show highlights a diverse collection of historically underrepresented storytellers. Previous installments have focused on the likes of Captain America: Brave New World, Moana 2, and Shogun.

The latest episode of the Hulu series, which will debut tomorrow, focuses on Coperni’s integration of Disney storytelling into their latest collection, culminating with the first-ever fashion show at Disneyland Paris.

Audiences will better understand the magical event and Coperni’s design process through interviews with designers Sebastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, models, and Disney employees.

“We grew up with Disney as an important part of our childhood. For many French children, particularly those from the provinces, the first family visit to the ‘big city Paris’ meant a trip to Disneyland,” shared Sebastien and Arnaud.

“Disney’s fairytales and characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Ariel from ‘The Little Mermaid,’ Snow White, Cinderella, and Maleficent were our guides through the complex landscape of human emotions — friendship, love, fear, courage, transformation.”
