Swiss Family Treehouse is Now Uncovered at Magic Kingdom — Join Us on a Walkthrough!
It’s a beautiful day here at the Magic Kingdom, and we’re feeling like going on an adventure!
Of course, there’s nowhere quite as inspiringly venturesome as the Swiss Family Treehouse, which our reporters noted is looking rather perfect today!
Refurbishment: Completed!
If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog, you may have heard that the Swiss Family Treehouse has been undergoing a bit of a refurbishment recently, and has been covered in scrim and scaffolding since November 2024.
Now, we’re thrilled to see that the entire jungle hideaway is perfectly uncovered, ready for guests to admire the Robinsons’ residence in all its adventurous glory!

Of course, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to walk through this attraction — so join us on a climb up the tree to see what’s new!
The Water Works!
As we step through the attraction, the biggest aspect we’re noticing is that the treehouse’s eye-catching water wheel is now back to spinning as usual.
It was this water wheel which has been covered by scrim for so long, and by looking at it today, we can tell that the refurbishment efforts have been effective.
It looks good as new!
Alongside the wheel, we noticed that all the other water elements of the attraction were working as they should be, with the trickling stream providing a fun ambience.
The only thing we spotted that wasn’t working was these bamboo cups, which usually rotate on the track alongside the wheel.
Still, even stationary, they look very effective!
A Summer Spruce
Progressing through the attraction, our eagle-eyed reporters noticed that the treehouse really does seem to have benefited from this long period of closure, with various elements looking like they’ve had a great spring clean in time for the busy summer season.
Various props look refreshed and bright, with different colors of decor popping brightly against the green-and-brown of the treehouse structure!
I mean, just look at the fruit on this table…
It looks good enough to eat!
Next time you’re voyaging through Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom, be sure to stop by and visit the Swiss Family Treehouse.
Now that the scrim and scaffolding have been removed, we imagine this will be a top spot for photo-taking this summer, and we’re so happy guests will be able to experience the attraction in full working order once more!
